Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why did we start Hold The Line Recovery?
Hold The Line Recovery was created because too many veterans were carrying their battles alone.
Many of us needed a place where we could reconnect, be honest about where we’re at, rebuild
structure, and have people who understand the lifestyle standing beside us. HTLR exists because
veterans deserve a dependable community—not a program—where accountability and support actually
mean something.
2. What’s our mission?
Our mission is simple: help each other stay disciplined, stay connected, and stay moving forward. We
use daily check-ins, fire-teams, and shared goals to keep each other accountable in a way that actually
works.
3. Who’s behind HTLR?
Hold The Line Recovery is led by a veteran founder and supported by a small team of trusted
partners who help with operations, outreach, technology, and community support. Everyone involved
shares the same commitment to building a strong, dependable space for veterans.
4. Is this a medical program?
No. HTLR isn’t therapy or counseling. It’s a community-driven accountability system built by veterans
for veterans—focused on connection, routine, and support. Therapy/Counseling may be added as a tool to connect veteran's with in the future.
5. How do our fire-teams work?
Each member joins a small fire-team. Everyone checks in daily, sets personal goals, and supports each
other through wins, setbacks, and growth. It’s not complicated—just honest accountability with people
who get it.
6. What makes HTLR different from other veteran groups?
HTLR is built on accountability, not just conversation. Instead of large, inactive groups, we use small
fire-teams, daily check-ins, and goal tracking to keep each other moving forward. It’s personal,
consistent, and built around real support—not just social interaction.
7. How do we fund everything?
HTLR runs on donations, grants, and community support. Everything is used transparently for
mission-focused needs—never personal use.
8. How do I join a fire-team?
Just fill out the sign-up form. Once we get your info, we’ll connect with you and place you into a
fire-team when one opens. You’ll get instructions on check-ins and next steps.
